Simon Lowy

In 2021, I returned to the piano — partly for my wellbeing, partly to reconnect with music. I had no expectations, and what followed has genuinely amazed me.

Years earlier, I’d worked as a professional pianist, playing venues like the Savoy in London and recording across Jazz, Musicals, Classical and Pop. Those recordings quietly lived on while I stepped away to follow a different path.

Fifteen years later, the pandemic shifted everything. I left my job, sat back down at the piano, and began writing Modern Classical pieces. What started as a simple mindfulness practice grew into something far more meaningful — a creative world I hadn’t realised I’d missed.

I’m incredibly grateful for where it’s led. This new chapter has connected me with artists worldwide and with millions of listeners along with airplay on BBC Radio and across the U.S.

My music now blends calm, clarity and emotion, shaped by experience, rediscovery, and a genuine love for the piano.

Most importantly, I’m doing what I love again.
