Tim and Jon Hart are brothers and bandmates in Boy & Bear, but as L'ouest they make something quieter, stripped back to piano and atmosphere. The duo write instrumental music for the quiet corners of a day; the morning coffee, the long drive, the end of the day. Drawing on the influence of Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Alaskan Tapes and Felix Rösch, the result is spacious, unhurried and restrained. Music for the moment.
