Muses Trio is an award-winning Australian chamber ensemble dedicated to championing the music of women composers. Formed in 2013, the trio—Christa Powell (violin), Louise King (cello) and Therese Milanovic (piano)—has established a national reputation for its bold, virtuosic performances and distinctive artistic vision. Known for their “spine-tingling” and expressive style, they present carefully curated programs that bring overlooked and underrepresented works by women to the forefront of the classical music landscape.

Muses Trio has released multiple recordings, including The Spirit and the Maiden, Celebrating Clara, Music for Calm and Catharsis, and 10 Years, and recorded for ABC Classic. Their commitment to artistic excellence and advocacy has earned national recognition, including the APRA AMCOS State Luminary Award in 2025.
