Michael Emenau – (Bac Classical Music – McGill) has worked professionally as a percussionist, pianist, composer, producer, and arranger for 30+ years, playing such diverse genres as, Jazz, Rock, Drum&bass, Salsa, Pop, Techno, Country, Hindustani, Gospel, Baroque, Klezmer, Instrumental Hip-Hop, Film and Orchestral music. During this time he has recorded on over 250 CD’s, composed music for 8 films, dozens of advertisements, toured internationally, and lived on 3 continents. As a recording artist he has released a series of highly acclaimed solo CD’s on the boutique record labels, Hearts of Space, Daikini, Lucky Bear, Jazz Mafia and Six Degrees records. He has performed from Carnegie Hall and Philharmonie de Paris to the Knitting Factory and Burning Man.

Currently, Michael works under the names Michael Emenau, D.Ølsen and MNO and is focusing primarily on instrumental Hip-Hop and Neo-Classical chamber music. Collectively, he has over 5,000,000 streams.
